<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BIT dispersion concentrate which is stable, viscous in a useful range, and has almost no or no dispersant, and which can be used in a composition contacting indirectly with foodstuff. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains 1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one dispersed in an aqueous medium and further contains one or more polysaccharide.
