<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide article sorting equipment for preventing an accident that an article is nipped by shoes, and increasing the sorting efficiency of the articles. <P>SOLUTION: The article sorting equipment 10 comprises: a rotation drive device 12a; endless chains 14 circulating around a conveyance route by the rotation drive device 12a; a plurality of slats 18 on which the article 16 is placed and conveyed; and the shoes 20 attached to the slats 18. A confirmation device 90 for confirming that the shoe 20 moves along the slat 18 is arranged.
