<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can advantageously enhance lateral force to be generated and surely demonstrating an excellent steering stability performance by effectively suppressing a crushing shearing force generated in a shoulder land part at a position just below a load when the shoulder land part is formed in an area which straddles the outermost side edge of a widened belt reinforced layer. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire: includes a carcass 1, at least one of belt reinforced layers 2, one or more belt layers 3, 4, and tread rubber 5; divides the shoulder land part 10 being positioned in the tread rubber 5 by straddling the outermost side edge position E of the belt reinforced layers 2 at a shoulder circumferential groove 6 continuously extending in a tread circumferential direction; and makes a tilt angle of a groove wall 6a at a shoulder for a slope line N drawn on a shoulder land part surface in a groove edge position of the groove wall 6a at the shoulder of the shoulder circumferential groove 6 larger than a tilt angle of a groove wall 6c at the center for a slope line N drawn on a surface of a land part arranged adjacently to the inside in a tread width direction of the shoulder land part in the groove edge position of the groove wall 6c at the center of the shoulder circumferential groove 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
