<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a fan control method in which allow cleaning of a dustproof filter and functioning of the dustproof filter even when the device is in an operating state. <P>SOLUTION: A dust arrester using a dustproof filter comprises a plurality of fans 3 and a control unit 4 which requests the fan 3 to rotate in an inverse direction to remove dust on a dustproof filter 2 provided in an intake side of the fans 3. When the fan 3 rotates in the inverse direction, the control unit 4 requests at least one of the fans except the fan rotating in the inverse direction to keep rotating in a forward direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
