摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine that can decrease a vapor fuel of a low-pressure fuel system with a simpler configuration, wherein the fuel supply device includes a return channel for circulating a fuel in the low-pressure fuel system between a low-pressure pump and a high-pressure pump. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device includes a low-pressure flow channel that connects a discharge section of the low-pressure pump with a compression chamber of the high-pressure pump. The low-pressure channel includes a first branch area provided at upstream compared to the compression chamber of the high-pressure pump and a second branch area 32b provided at an upstream compared to the first branch area. The first branch area and the second branch area 32b are connected via an external return channel 39d. A return pipe 39 protrudes an low-pressure channel 18d inside the pipe so that a circulating area of the low-pressure channel 18d inside the pipe in the second branch area 32b is smaller that of the low-pressure channel 18d upstream and downstream the second branch area 32b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
