<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device 51, the unlocked state of which can be easily recognized by an operator operating the handle device 51 in an installation location of an equipment box. <P>SOLUTION: In a handle device 1, a lower end of a housing 2 is equipped with a bracket lever 13 which is actuated by a solenoid 12 and engaged with/disengaged from a clamp plate 25 of a handle 4. The handle device 1 makes a door opened by putting a cabinet side into an unlocked state by the operation of pulling the handle 4, which has the clamp plate 25 disengaged from the bracket lever 13, to a near side. The handle device 1 is provided with a light-emitting diode 10 which is turned on in the state of having the handle 4 opened to the near side and turned off when the clamp plate 25 on the side of the handle 4 is locked to the bracket lever 13 provided at the lower end of the housing 2.
