The mattress carrier (30) has an overlay region (32) that is extended towards couch surface of nursing bed (1) to overlay on mattress portion of bed. The overlay region is comprised with bending portions (35,36) with edges pointing in upward direction, where height of bending portions are set in the range of 60-180 mm with respect to the nursing bed. A fastening unit is arranged in the carrier for attachment with the bed.
