<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper braking device which can secure heat resistance of a piston, an elastic membrane, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicular caliper braking device, a disk 6 rotated together with a wheel 5 are sandwiched to give a frictional force. The piston 65 presses a brake block 7 into the disk 6 in such a way that the elastic membrane 50 is expanded by fluid pressure led by an elastic membrane chamber 63 when braking. The piston 65 is configured to make a contact area of a piston press surface 65a contacting the brake block 7 form smaller than a press area of the piston rear surface 65b pressed by the elastic membrane 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
