<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein a side wall of a channel character is manufactured with welding of a metal plate such as a stainless steel plate requiring time and effort, and cost since the channel character is formed by carving handwriting of characters in a three-dimensional belt-shape and a light-diffused resin handwriting plate is afloat with light by means of a built-in light source and it is necessary that the light source for uniformly illuminating the handwriting plate from the back is installed far from the handwriting plate, and there are defects on a conventional light source which cannot coping with decentralization of the light source indispensable to equalization of brightness on the handwriting plate and the channel characters with fine shapes (for example, Mincho type Chinese characters). <P>SOLUTION: A backlight system has a function for efficiently attaining decentralization of the light source, and a function for efficiently diffusing light emitted from the light source, while securing freedom on the arrangement of the light source. Thus, the side wall of the character can be manufactured by carving a resin material with a laser cutting machine while maintaining uniformity on plane luminance of the handwriting plate, and fine channel characters can be manufactured at low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
