<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing crosstalk that could occur on a three-dimensional television. <P>SOLUTION: A video dimensionality check unit 32 checks whether or not a video to be reproduced is a three-dimensional video containing a first parallax image and a second parallax image which are images of an object in a three-dimensional space from different viewpoints. When the video to be reproduced is a three-dimensional video, a display panel check unit 34 acquires, from a display apparatus for displaying the video, information including the type of its display panel. A video adjusting unit 14 retrieves a video output condition suitable for display characteristics of the display panel from a database on the basis of the information acquired by the display panel check unit, and adjusts the three-dimensional video in accordance with the retrieved output condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
