摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing phosphorus and/or fluorine for recovering high-quality valuable metal by preventing the formation of salt with the valuable metal by efficiently removing phosphorus and fluorine from the leachate of a positive electrode active material, and to provide a method for recovering valuable metal using the removing method. <P>SOLUTION: At least one compound selected from the group consisting of a Ca compound, Mg compound, Al compound, and rare earth compound is added to the leachate obtained by leaching the positive electrode active material of a lithium ion battery using an acidic solution.
