<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger including both a damper suppressing function of preventing axial movement of a damper member and an oil seal function of preventing flowing out of oil in an axial outward direction, capable of extensively reducing or eliminating leaking of oil to a turbine side or compressor side, and capable of simplifying assembly by reducing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: The turbocharger includes a rotary shaft 12 connecting a turbine impeller and a compressor impeller, a pair of rolling bearings 17, the damper member 32 supporting the rolling bearing in an inner side and having an outer surface fit in a housing 16 via an oil film, and a lid member 34 fixed to the housing. The lid member 34 has a damper suppressing part 35, and an oil seal part 36 preventing leaking of oil in the axial outward direction. The oil suppressing part 35 and the oil seal part 36 are integrally connected in an upper part and a side face, oil separating spaces 37 separated at an interval in the axial direction are provided between them, and the oil separating space 37 is opened axially inward in a lower part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
