<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and antenna control method, capable of suppressing degradation of send/receive performance by detecting a characteristic change in an antenna changing depending on a usage state and adapting to the changing antenna characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 10 includes a reception level measurement part 113 that measures reception levels of high-frequency signals at a reference frequency with a resonance frequency of an antenna as a reference and at an offset frequency from the reference frequency by a predetermined frequency, and an antenna control part 115 that shifts a resonance frequency in the direction of the reference frequency by controlling the antenna 13 when the reception level at the offset frequency measured by the reception level measurement part 113 is higher than the reception level at the reference frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
