<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a flat weft woven fabric, capable of eliminating twisting of a flat weft and a weft weaving error in weaving the flat weft woven fabric. <P>SOLUTION: A device for manufacturing a flat weft woven fabric comprises a cross section setting device 14, provided in a weft delivering part 13 for seizing the flat weft tip end 11 delivered toward a weft receiving part 12 receiving a flat weft tip end 11, for setting the delivered flat weft tip end so as to form a curved cross-sectional shape. The cross section setting device 14 includes: a pair of left and right side edge pressing parts 18 and 19, for pressing both side edges 16 and 17 horizontally facing each other of the flat weft from one face of a front face or back face of the flat weft 15 toward the other face opposed to the one face; and a middle pressing part 21 provided between the pair of side edge pressing parts 18 and 19, for pressing a portion 20 between both side edges 16 and 17 horizontally facing each other of the flat weft 15 in a direction opposite to a pressing direction of the pair of left and right side edge pressing parts 18 and 19. Either or both of the weft receiving part and the weft delivering part can be attached to the respective tip end(s) of weft introducing rods 23 and 29 moving in a direction facing each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
