<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing occurrence of breakage and the like of a carcass cord by enhancing durability of a side wall part while suppressing the increase of weight and a longitudinal spring constant of tire. <P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire including a carcass 14 extending in a toroidal shape from a tread part 11 to a pair of bead parts 13 via a pair of side wall parts 12 and comprising at least one ply, a plurality of sheets of reinforcing layers 16 are provided to the outer peripheral side of a part corresponding to at least the side wall part 12 of the carcass 14 with prescribed pitches in a tire circumferential direction, wherein the reinforcing layer 16 is a rubber coating layer formed by coating a reinforcing element with rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
