<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus comprising an image recognition part of which determination accuracy for a specified mark does not deteriorate even if read data changes due to effect of an ambient environment, an image recognition method, and an image recognition program. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises an image recognition part including a storage part that stores a feature amount for reference used in checking for detecting a predetermined specific mark from an input image, a feature amount calculation part that calculates a feature amount of a partial image sequentially cut out from image data of the input image, a correction part that finds a correction amount from a comparison result of an average value of the feature amounts of the partial images with an average value of the feature amounts for reference, and then corrects the feature amount of the partial image or the feature amount for reference using the correction amount, a determination part that, after correction is performed by the correction part, compares the feature amount of the partial image with the feature amount for reference to determine whether or not the partial image represents the specific mark. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
