<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle arrangement method in manufacturing a panel for information display in which particle groups can be prevented from being damaged and an aggregate also can be prevented from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: In the particle arrangement method in manufacturing the panel for information display which comprises: an observation side substrate having a transparent screen area to display information; a rear side substrate arranged opposite to the observation side substrate; partition walls for partitioning inside the screen area between the two substrates; and particle groups which are arranged in the screen area between the two substrates and moved by an imparted electric field to serve as a display medium to display information, when the particle groups 3W placed on a mask 11 having an opening are moved by pressing a particle filling member 12 to the mask and arranged on a substrate via the opening, the mask which has Vickers hardness of 1000 HV to 6000 HV on the surface of the side in contact with the particle filling member and surface resistivity of 1.0×10<SP POS="POST">6</SP>Ω/sq to 2.0×10<SP POS="POST">10</SP>Ω/sq on the face of the side in contact with the particle filling member is used as the mask. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
