<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitate carbon content in metal oxide with sufficient accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In a combustion analysis method of carbon for heating and combusting the metal oxide in oxygen airflow with a combustion improver, converting carbon in the metal oxide into carbon dioxide, and calculating the carbon content in the metal oxide from concentration of carbon dioxide; a mixture of copper and iron is used as the combustion improver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
