<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor which can reduce a leakage loss to suppress the deterioration in compression efficiency without having to improve a profile accuracy of a lap. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of a first lap 24b of a fixed scroll and a second lap 26b of a turning scroll has a shape in which the radially inner clearance of the lap is narrower than the radially outer clearance of the lap. The clearance is a radial gap between the first lap 24b and the second lap 26b formed when the side face of the first lap 24b is closest to the side face of the second lap 26b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
