Provided is a compound for inhibiting abnormal glucose intolerance and postprandial hyperglycemia in diabetic patients by inhibiting the activity of sodium-glucose transporter 1 (SGLT 1) and the absorption of glucose. Specifically provided are a 4-isopropyl-6-methoxyphenyl glucitol compound represented by formula (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of said compound.
