PORTABLE CUTTING MACHINE

A portable cutting machine comprises a housing (12), a swinging output shaft (16) partly projecting out of the housing and having an output shaft axis;an electric motor (14) accommodated within the housing; a driving shaft (44) for rotating under the drive of the electric motor (14), with the driving shaft (44) having a driving shaft axis; and a motion converting mechanism for converting the rotational movement of the driving shaft (44) into the swinging movement of the swinging output shaft, wherein, the output shaft axis and the driving shaft axis are arranged in parallel with each other. The portable cutting machine has relatively low vibration during cutting, so that the cutting precision and the handling comfort thereof are improved.
