<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bass reproduction by a compact speaker and the design flexibility of bass reproduction, as well as the chattering sounds of the structures of electronic equipment caused by powerful bass reproduction, the chattering sounds of structures in the periphery of an automotive speaker and the leakage of sounds to outside of the car caused by powerful bass reproduction, and appearance design of an unattractive passive radiator. <P>SOLUTION: A raised bottom is provided for an enclosure to adjust the cubic volume of the enclosure. Plural pairs of passive radiators having different resonance conditions are provided. Outside of a speaker system comprised of a driver, the passive radiators, and the enclosure is provided with an outer enclosure. Signal processing is applied in such a way that gain is suppressed at a resonance point in the lowest frequency range where driver's vibration becomes maximum, and that gain is enhanced at a resonance point in the lowest frequency range where driver's vibration becomes minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
