<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate obtainment of a medicine equivalent to a domestically prescribed pharmaceutical product at a foreign destination. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: acquisition means to acquire a pharmaceutical product name in departure country which is the name of a pharmaceutical product available in a country from which a user departs; destination specifying means to receive a specification of a destination country of the user; retrieval means to obtain a first international classification to which the pharmaceutical product expressed by the pharmaceutical product name in departure country belongs by referring to a first medical information database that stores medical information for the departure country; specifying means to specify, from among pharmaceutical products sold in the destination country, a pharmaceutical product name in destination country which is the name of the pharmaceutical product in the destination country belonging to the first international classification by referring to a second medical information database that stores medical information for the destination country; and display means to display the pharmaceutical product name in destination country to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
