<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device pulled out of an image forming apparatus to easily perform work of eliminating retained sheets and other punched chips, replenishing staples, etc. making effective use of an expanded clearance. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet post-treatment device is constituted by juxtaposing a first unit equipped with a guide means for guiding sheets, a second unit equipped with a first post-treating means for post-treating the sheets, and a third unit equipped with a second post-treating means for post-treating a sheet sheaf. The sheet post-treatment device includes a first connecting means for connecting the first unit to at least one of the second and third units and connecting and supporting the second and third units so as to be pulled out in a sheet carry-out direction from the first unit by releasing the connection, and a second connecting means for supporting the adjoining inner side of the second and third units turnably while connecting the front side separably, and connecting and supporting the front side of the second unit releasably to the first unit side from the third unit by releasing the connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
