<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for advantageously producing a β-pinene-based polymer with a high molecular weight, especially a high number-average molecular weight, through regulating the cationic (co)polymerization of cationically polymerizable monomer(s) including at least β-pinene. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the β-pinene-based polymer by cationic polymerization or cationic copolymerization of cationically polymerizable monomer(s) including at least β-pinene is provided.
