<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam separator which has a simple structure and a high steam separation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a steam separator for separating water in steam generated by heat of a core of a nuclear reactor, including: a first channel 7a in which steam flows in and rises; a second channel 2a which is communicated with the first channel 7a and in which steam passing through the first channel 7a falls; and a third channel 1a which is communicated with the second channel 2a and in which steam passing through the second channel 2a rises.
