<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyroelectric type infrared detector that has a package corresponding to surface mounting, has a shield performance, and able to obtain an arbitrary field of view. <P>SOLUTION: The pyroelectric type infrared detector has on a base a pyroelectric type infrared sensor element 1, a FET 2, a resistor 3, a resistor for coping with high frequency noise, and a capacitor 4, and performs electrical connection using conductive adhesive resistant to a re-flow temperature of about 260°C and solder. A metal can 7 and the base are electrically connected by welding or brazing and thereby mechanically fixed, the metal can 7 being configured such that an optical filter 6 is mechanically and electrically fixed to an opening for taking in infrared ray of a desired size by adhesive and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
