<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that is high in durability and also superior in high speed properties. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire uses single twist cords made by giving twists to the nylon 66 multifilament yarns for a belt reinforcing layer. This belt reinforcing layer is arranged in a tire circumferential direction, and at least two or more layers are provided in a shoulder. In the single twist cord currently used for the belt reinforcing layer, the fineness is 900-3,000 dtex and the twist factor K expressed with K=T√D is 300-1,000, taking T for the number of twists per 100 mm, and D for the total fineness (dtex) of the single twist cord. Moreover, a relative elongation when loading of 2.3 cN/dtex of: the single twist cord used for the belt reinforcing layer by the belt layer side extracted from the tire; and the single twist cord used for the belt reinforcing layer by the road surface side of opposite side used to the belt layer, are 1/1.1-1/1.6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
