<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that enables data to be searched by adding tags, which are character strings to be composed in any desired way, to shared sets of data. <P>SOLUTION: In a data searching device 1, a tag editing unit 18 stores into a tag item storage 11 correspondences between items in a database 4 and tags, which are phrases to be composed in any desired way; a tag matrix editing unit 12 generates a tag matrix, in which each of two or more tag groups inputted by a user makes up a column or a row, and stores the matrix into a tag matrix storage 13; an item number totaling unit 14 searches items with a corresponding pair of row tags and column tags in each cell in the tag matrix as a key, and totals and sets in the cell the number of retrieved items; and a tag matrix output unit 15 outputs to an output device 3 the tag matrix in which the numbers of items totaled are set cell by cell, and outputs a list of items, which is the result of searching for selected cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
