<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a carrying device for carrying a circular object. <P>SOLUTION: A cam ring 20 of the carrying device 1 includes a plurality of cam groove forming parts 22, and a connection part 23 for connecting the cam groove forming parts. A cam groove 21 is inclined to a radial direction of the cam ring 20, and the cam groove forming part 22 is inclined to the radial direction in conformity with the cam groove 21, and the connection part 23 is narrower than the inclined part.
