The present application relates to the field of communications and, in particular, to a method, apparatus and system for feeding back CSI and receiving the same, and the method comprises: establishing a CSI feedback mechanism for an LTE-A system, i.e. with periodic CSI to be fed back being transmitted via a PUCCH and non-periodic CSI to be fed back being transmitted via a PUSCH when there are periodic CSI and non-periodic CSI corresponding to a plurality of downlink carriers in one uplink subframe simultaneously. In this way, the simultaneous transmission of the periodic CSI and non-periodic CSI in one uplink subframe is achieved via the PUCCH and PUSCH, thus avoiding the periodic CSI or non-periodic CSI corresponding to part of the downlink carriers being discarded, so that the base station side can promptly obtain the channel state information of different downlink carriers, thereby improving the accuracy of system downlink scheduling and the reliability of system service. The present application also provides a corresponding apparatus and system.
