<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity of a booklet by starting printing before completion of reading of the whole manuscript. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined that reading of a manuscript<SB POS="POST">(n-1)</SB>being one sheet before (n-1) the manuscript<SB POS="POST">(n)</SB>of the final sheet n is completed based on detection of a pre-paper-feed sensor 31a and a zero detection sensor 31b of an automatic manuscript feeding device ADF. Based on the determination, image formation to a sheet is started with image data<SB POS="POST">(n-1)</SB>obtained from a manuscript<SB POS="POST">(n-1)</SB>being one sheet before (n-1), then image formation to a sheet is performed in an descending order opposite to the reading order from the image data<SB POS="POST">(n-1)</SB>to image data<SB POS="POST">(1)</SB>obtained from a manuscript<SB POS="POST">(1)</SB>being the first sheet, and finally image formation to a sheet is performed based on image data<SB POS="POST">(n)</SB>obtained from the final manuscript<SB POS="POST">(n)</SB>so as to form a booklet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
