<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate brightness unevenness of a display screen of a liquid crystal image display device using a side-light type liquid crystal panel formed by combining a plurality of light guide plate assemblies. <P>SOLUTION: Borders of two light guide plate assemblies are overlapped with each other and fixed to a heat spread, and a protruded part is formed, for instance, on the heat spread by a drawing process at a position away from a fixing position by a given distance to position rear-face sides of the light guide plate assemblies. With this, surface precision of the light guide assemblies is improved as a whole to alleviate brightness unevenness of the display screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
