<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat including a seatback capable of absorbing impact energy by backward displacement, because a seatback frame is bent and deformed backward with a simple structure when a load of a seated person due to impact is applied to the seatback. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat includes a seatback frame 1 which includes right and left side frames 10a, 10b, an upper frame 11 ranging between upper parts of the side frames 10a, 10b, and a lower frame 12 ranging between lower parts of the side frames 10a, 10b, and which exhibits a frame shape. The lower frame 12 is provided so as to be stretched over lower back parts of the side frames 10a, 10b.
