<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic converter device capable of preventing reduction of energizing efficiency for a catalyst carrier caused by carbon contained in exhaust. <P>SOLUTION: The energization to the catalyst carrier 14 carrying a catalyst causes the catalyst carrier 14 to be heated to increase a temperature of the catalyst, allowing the catalyst to exert high purifying effect. A carbon collecting device 42 is arranged on the upstream of the catalyst carrier 14, and carbon deposit to the catalyst carrier 14, a holding mat 26, and a case cylindrical body 28 is prevented by collecting the carbon in the exhaust. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
