<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus capable of finely crushing objects to be processed in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet apparatus of the invention includes a crushing mechanism part 2 for crushing the objects to be processed such as dirty excreta, toilet paper, or dirt and toilet paper. The crushing mechanism part 2 includes: a crushing chamber 2A for introducing the objects to be processed as well as wash water; a pair of a fixed crushing tooth 2B and a rotated crushing tooth 2C for crushing the objects to be processed introduced into the crushing chamber 2A with wash water and transforming them into fluid; a shaft 2D for supporting the rotated crushing tooth 2C; and a partition member 2E for generating water flow in the crushing chamber 2A by relative rotational motion between the fixed crushing tooth 2B and the rotated crushing tooth 2C.
