<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for the skin, containing a base having good stability, and providing excellent use feeling, especially wet feeling and lack of squeaky feeling after being coated. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for the skin includes 0.01-5 mass% of a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-added phytosterol and/or a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-added phytostanol represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R is a phytosterol residue or a phytostanol residue; m is a number of 5-100; and n is a number of 5-100) and 0.01-10 mass% of a block-type alkylene oxide derivative represented by general formula (II), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>O-[(BO)<SB POS="POST">p</SB>(EO)<SB POS="POST">q</SB>(BO)<SB POS="POST">r</SB>]-R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>(II) (wherein, BO is an oxybutylene group; EO is an oxyethylene group; p, r and q are each an average number of added moles; 1≤q≤70; 1≤p+r≤70; the proportion of the oxyethylene group based on the total of the oxybutylene group and the oxyethylene group is 20-80 mass%; and R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are each a 1C-4C hydrocarbon group). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
