An optical apparatus (100) comprises: a lens assembly (150) including one or more lenses, an image sensor (110) for receiving light from the lens assembly (150), an actuator (160) for adjusting a position of the lens assembly (150), which includes at least one magnet (190) and at least one coil (170) to produce an electromagnetic force, and a spring (180) disposed between the magnet (190) and the coil (170). A method for manufacturing the optical apparatus (100) is also provided.
