The reliability of connection between a coil and an external electrode is improved. A laminated body (12) is formed by the lamination of a plurality of insulation layers (16a to 16m) and comprises: a top face (S1) and a bottom face (S2) which are mutually opposed in the lamination direction; and side faces (S3 to S6) which connect the top face (S1) and the bottom face (S2). A coil (L) is incorporated in the laminated body (12). A connecting conductor (22a) is provided on the top face (S1) of the laminated body (12) so as to not make contact with the side faces (S3 to S6) of the laminated body (12). An external electrode (14a) is provided on the top face (S1) of the laminated body (12) so as to cover the connecting conductor (22a). Via hole conductors (v1 to v4) connect an end section (A1) of the coil (L) and the connecting conductor (22a), and pass through the insulation layers (16) in the lamination direction.
