<p>A toy set is provided in which a toy, which is operated in conjunction with an electronic device comprising a touch panel, and a program for the electronic device are combined. By electrically coupling the toy (11), which travels in a self-propelled manner over a display (55) and may for example be a toy in the form of a dog, to the electronic device by way of a cord member (14) that includes a conductive member, change in the electrostatic capacitance of a conductive film portion of the touch panel (53) opposing the position of the toy can be detected. The electronic device is equipped with a program for displaying, on the display, a game scene relating to the toy (11) which travels in a self-propelled manner, and is equipped with a program for displaying a signal which causes the toy (11) to travel. The flow of the game proceeds with the travelling of the toy and the game scene displayed on the display being in conjunction with each other.</p> |
