<p>An implantable blood pump includes a housing defining an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Within the housing, a dividing wall defines a blood flow conduit extending between the inlet opening and the outlet opening of the housing. The blood pump has a rotary motor that includes a stator and a rotor.
