<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic settlement system preventing a double settlement process in the electronic settlement system using a communication terminal mounted with a non-contact communication function, a settlement device, and a relay card for relaying settlement data between the communication terminal and the settlement device. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic settlement system includes: the settlement device which comprises a settlement device-side non-contact communication unit for transmitting and receiving data by non-contact communication, a communication state determination unit for determining the communication state with a device at the other end, a data determination unit for reading the data of the device at the other end and determining the settlement data, and a settlement data processing unit for generating data to be written in the device at the other end; the communication terminal incorporating a terminal-side non-contact communication unit for transmitting and receiving data by non-contact communication; and the relay card which incorporates a card-side non-contact communication unit for transmitting and receiving the data by non-contact communication, and a settlement data recording unit recording the settlement data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
