PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent anatase type titanium oxide to be a photocatalyst from being removed by firmly supporting it when decomposing a contaminant by exciting the photocatalyst with plasma, and also to dramatically improve efficiency in a cleaning treatment by the photocatalyst by increasing an opportunity to be brought into contact with the photocatalyst.
SOLUTION: A photocatalyst filter (F) is arranged in a plasma generation space (4) to be an air flow passage (2). The photocatalyst filter (F) includes one or more sheets of filter elements (E) where photocatalyst layers (15) are formed by burning anatase type titanium oxide particles in titanium mesh (14) in which a large number of fine flow passages (12) to be vent holes are formed in titanium foil (11) and also, on the front surfaces, titanium oxide base layers (13) by anodic oxide films are formed. Periodic or randomly periodic projections/recessions where the titanium mesh (14) is formed by bending or pressing are formed in at least one sheet of filter element (E).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
