<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that alleviates time and work for forming an image of a manuscript of an unspecific form. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes determination means for determining whether or not to use information on image formation associated with a fixed-form manuscript size stored in storage means; setting means that makes settings with respect to image formation based on an obtained manuscript size; and controlling means which, when it is determined by the determination means to use the information on the image formation associated with a fixed-form manuscript size, performs image formation by image forming means using the information, and which, when it is determined by the determination means not to use the information on the image formation associated with a fixed-form manuscript size, performs image formation by the image forming means based on the settings by the setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
