<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the positional deviation of an image generated when a recording body tip end enters a transfer nip and transfer tip end transfer failure without damaging an image carrier, and to obtain good transfer performance, in an image forming device which transfers a tonner image on the image carrier to a recording body by a transfer electric field formed on a transfer nip portion. <P>SOLUTION: Immediately before transfer paper enters the transfer nip portion, a clearance is formed between an intermediate transfer belt 10 and a secondary transfer roller 23 by a conductive portion of a position regulating cam 72 and a conductive butting roller 78. During the formation of the clearance, through the position regulating cam and the butting roller, a current induced by transfer voltage is made to pass. When forming the transfer nip, an insulation sheet 81 pasted on a part in a circumferential direction of the position regulating cam and the butting roller 78 are oppositely separated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
