<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor for relatively easily quickening the read access of an on-chip EEPROM without generating the increase of a chip occupancy area or the increase of power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The on-chip non-volatile memory of a data processor includes: a pre-read cache part (15) for latching a whole part or a portion of data read to a bit line by a low address system selecting operation from an array (10) of the non-volatile memory cell; and a selection circuit (16) for selecting a portion of the data latched by the pre-read cache part by a column system selecting operation. The non-volatile memory is configured to store the address information of the data latched by the pre-read cache part, and to suppress the latch of new data to the pre-read cache part in performing read access to the non-volatile memory based on address information which is the same as the stored address information, and to make the selection part select the data latched by the pre-read cache part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
