<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search device, a route search method and a computer program which can reduce communication processing, communication time, communication costs and the like concerning communication with a center. <P>SOLUTION: A route search device is configured to perform route searching by: acquiring basic congestion information from a VICS center 5 (S2); performing first route search processing for searching a route to a destination based on the acquired basic congestion information (S3); performing second route search processing for searching a route from a departure place to the destination by assuming that links other than a specific link in links included in a first travel route are congested and also links other than the specific link in links not included in the first travel route are non-congested (S4); and acquiring additional congestion information as center traffic information from a probe center 4 when it is determined that the first travel route and a second travel route do not match (S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
