<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VA (vertical alignment) mode liquid crystal display device, which is mounted with a touch panel and can eliminate unevenness in a display caused by an external contact or pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a VA mode liquid crystal panel, a control device controlling displaying on the liquid crystal panel, and a touch panel. The display device is preferably configured in such a manner that the touch panel senses a contact by a detection object, and the control device selects timing and inserts a low-voltage display pattern comprising a display of pixels driven at a lower voltage than a voltage corresponding to the display data of the liquid crystal panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
