<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for polishing a disk of toroidal type continuously variable transmission, which processes a disk with high accuracy and also mass-produces the disk, and to provide a polishing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the polishing method, a raceway surface 41 to be polished of a first disk 10 and a raceway surface 42 to be polished of a second disk 11 are polished simultaneously by rotating the first disk 10 and the second disk 11 simultaneously, while interposing a first grinding stone 1 between the raceway surface 41 to be polished of the first disk 10 and the raceway surface 42 to be polished of the second disk 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
