<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard board which is useful as an interior or exterior material for automobiles. <P>SOLUTION: The hard board is produced by impregnating a needle-punched nonwoven fabric, which is formed of low-melting point polyester fibers alone, a mixture of ordinary polyester fibers and the low-melting point polyester fibers, or a mixture obtained by further mixing the mixture with heat-set polypropylene fibers, with a mixture of a thermoplastic resin and a formaldehyde-free pseudo-thermoplastic resin which is cross-linked by an esterification reaction; and by thermoforming the impregnated needle-punched nonwoven fabric. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
